Lo storico Sacha Zala è direttore del centro di ricerca Documenti diplomatici svizzeri (Dodis), un istituto dell’Accademia svizzera di scienze umane e sociali (SAGW), e professore di storia svizzera e storia moderna all’Università di Berna. Dal 2014 al 2026 è stato presidente della Società svizzera di storia (SGG), dal 2011 è segretario generale dell’International Committee of Editors of Diplomatic Documents (ICEDD) e dal 2017 fa parte del consiglio direttivo dell’International Committee of Historical Sciences (ICHS).
